私たちの研究に参加しませんか。 HOW DOES YOUR BRAIN PROCESS CULTURAL IDENTITY? PARTICIPATE IN OUR STUDY! What’s the study all about? The study seeks to investigate social identity in cross-cultural comparison and involves disciplines such as Neuroscience, Cultural Anthropology, Psychology, and Sociology. In the study, we will acquire brain scans and measure your brain activity using “functional magnetic resonance imaging” (fMRI) and conduct an interview with you. The study will take about 4-5 hours and will be conducted in our labs in Berlin-Dahlem. Whom are we seeking? We are specifically seeking participants from INDONESIA and JAPAN who • were born and grew up in Indonesia or Japan • are available in Berlin sometime between March and October 2011 • speak a little English besides their mother tongue (German language skills not required!) What’s in it for you? You will receive 20 Euros show-up fee plus a flexible pay-off (depending on your performance, up to 30 Euros) from a short economic game that is part of our study. Besides, being a participant gives you the opportunity to learn more about yourself and your behavioral attitudes! Whom to contact? If you are interested in participating, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are pleased to give you more detailed information and look forward to hearing from you! Mail: [email protected] Please send your phone number, so we can call you back. Freie Universität Berlin, Cluster of Excellence “Languages of Emotion”, Habelschwerdter Allee 45, 14195 Berlin |
