That looks great. Your shading is quite nice. I have to agree with Moodaddy on the looking like she is running. Although the more you look at it with the one bird at calf level you get a small sense.

You would maybe need to show the rest of her right foot, and maybe position her higher up. Where the blue meets the white area creates a horizon line, which is were you get the confusion. A lower horizon line or separation would give more of a flying fee along with carrying the blue down farther. Also with the lines of the clouds running across the page. Id break them up a bit. l. Hope that made sense.

The sky looks good I think. If you look at a clear blue sky you will notice it is darker above and graduates into a lighter blue.
