Hey guys I'm hoping I can count on the support of my Japan Forum Buddies!

There is about an 80% chance that I will have my own radio show through my school. It's a new college station that airs on iTunes. My show is a variety type show. I play music from all over. (Yes that includes Japan) I love all kinds of music so I'm sure there will be something for everyone. Keeping shows in rotation depend on how many there are listening. (They can see where people are listening around the world. It's pretty cool.) So I hope you guys can help out by tuning in.

I've always enjoyed the friendly atmosphere on this site. I hope this will be something we all can have fun with. If the show is aired you'll hear that I'm really open to what the listeners think. You could be broadcast world wide talking about your favorite music!

If I get the green light I'll of course give you guys all the info. (When, where, contact...blah blah)

P.S- I'm gonna refresh this thread from time to time so as many of you can see it as possible. I know that can be annoying sometimes but please bear with me.

As long as you have access to iTunes> iTunes Radio you shouldn't have a problem.

Also the station has it's own site so you can listen that was as well.:ywave:

Don't roast me guys! Just refreshing the thread. I want as many of you guys to know about this as possible. I'm putting the finishing touches on my first show so I'll be turning it in before the end of the week.

I have a lot of ideas for upcoming shows if my show is accepted so I hope a lot of you will want to participate!

There is no set genre of music that I will play. The show is set up to pull songs from listener suggestions as well as from my personal faves. Since I love music in general anything goes. I'm trying to create a sharing atmosphere where you may pick up a new favorite song or you can turn me and the other listeners on to something new. New meaning new to us there are also no date rules. New and old welcome.

The first show leans a little more rock. Not all loud there're some groves too.

If you have a band this would be an excellent opportunity to be heard world wide! I know for a fact the station has listeners all over(US, France, India, Japan, Africa, Germany).

Well, since it is rock you should mix oldies with newbies like, Ac-Dc, Led Zeppelin, ZZ top, etc... Mixed with current bands like Muse, Kaiser Chiefs, and others so you can appeal to as much people as possible, and I recommend you do this in every segment. When does the show go on?

i would luv 2 listen but idk how 2 get an itune radio, this is the first ive heard of it acctualy :o

In your iTunes player (on the computer) in the left column the top starts as (Library) Under which you should have listed:

Music
Movies
Tv Shows
Podcasts

And

Radio(with a tower icon)

Choose Radio>CollegeRadio>FlatfootRecords(second station down)

If you don't have the latest versions of iTunes and Quicktime the stream may not connect.

Thanks for the suggestions but please don't misunderstand this is not a rock show. It's an everything show. It just so happens the first show has a few more rock tracks than other genres. Funny you should mention old/new segments cause I have one included.

Yes you can. All you need is access to iTunes radio though your iTunes player. And it's free!

For me the only problem is I don't have an iTune player!!

Semi meaningless update!

So, I go to submit my show and the contact guy seamed really excited to take it! That means either they are hungary for new material or something else I won't say for bad karma. He said the show would probably be up in a week.
