Some writing.
 

Okay, well since I'm all out of ideas, and I dont see why those few of us who write cannot self promote ourselves (yes I am aiming that comment quote blatantly at you people who draw!) then I thought I'd open up a topic linking some of my work. Mainly because I have an ego problem, but alos because I'd actually like to get some feedback from people and the only way thats going to happen is by pointing it out. So here goes.

Please note, majority of this stuff may still be in various stages of work in progress.
The Bringer of Death - short stories about a guy called Masataka Shinn.
Chaos in Action - short stories about a guy called Gazini. Linked in some way to TBoD
Something Random - a little something I threw together one day.
Birth of the Damned - a short story, and possible start of a collection of short stories based off 'Something Random'.
Captain J. Winters - I'm doing some World War 2 stuff for something in the future. This is one aspect of it.


So please comment, etc, etc. Never know, maybe I'll get better as a writer now.

Just an update and new add to the list. Thats all. And is anyone reading this stuff? Come on, give me some feedback will you?

I make it a rule never to read work which the writer doesn't consider mostly finished. I've spent three years as editor of two of the UK's most widely-read science fiction, fantasy and horror ezines, and if there's one thing I've grown tired of it's providing feedback only to hear the magic words "Well it's not finished yet - obviously I was going to fix all that".

Which of these do you consider finished or near to finished?

The latest two are finished, unless someone wants me to edit things in there becuase of grammatical errors, etc. (so thats the 2 WW2 stories then).

Other than that I'd say that the 'something random' and 'birth of the damned' are also pretty much finished as is.

Excellent thanks. Thats one thing I've noticed, if you as an artist ( in whatever context) don't make an effort to get feedback then you wont.

That and finding thread on here is like finding a needle in a haystack at times.
