Haku Cosplay

So, I'm not sure if this is the right board to post this in, but I am planning on cosplaying Haku from Naruto for Colossalcon in June. I will probably be posting pics and updates along the process of this, but I was also wondering if any of you have gone as him before if you had any tips. Things to know: I am a boy. I have softer facial features that are kinda androgynous sooo, yea kinda girly looking. I have never cosplayed before. I am planning on making my own costume. Or working with someone who can make it for me.
