poem:Neverland and the present Night -
08-28-2010, 10:11 PM
Can you recall the days of your youth
back when everything was simple
what you saw was the truth
when you hurt you cried
Pain wasn't something to hide
childhood friends were truly the
best, in them we could confide
They never lied, they pinky
promised
Yes the world was safer then
People didn't conspire to do you
harm and all were potential friends
sadly like all our dreams this ends...
and we grow up, what was once a gaurantee
you now know is an everyday gamble
The girl you kissed on the play ground
now has love handles and your in love...
no more just pretend
Yes the world was safer then...
What you see is no longer what it
really is. and what you thought was love
is just a memory of us in Neverland
We've grown up now
and
sake is the new truth tonight...
so drink my love and let us be children no more
