I am outside Nagoya. :)
My address does not have "Nagoya" in it.

Nagoya is bordered on the north and west by a large river - the city expanded to the south and east, but not to the north and west. This means the city center is nowhere close to the physical "center" of the city. Which means I can get to Nagoya station more quickly than the majority of people who actually live inside the city boundary.

Aha! I see...I was most familiar with the area around Nagoya Sta. so to me that is "Nagoya".
