I have got a problem. I am 24 and I live in Tokyo. My girlfriend is 16. We both want to have sex (up to a certain extent) together but I don't know what is legal and what is not in Tokyo. I know there are laws against things like enjo kosai. But this isn't anything like that. We are really in love. I don't give her money, although sometimes I treat her like any gentleman with his girlfriend.

I know the laws vary with the prefecture. There are a lot of contradictory rumors. Anyone knows about the real legal facts in Tokyo?

I don't have any advice.... I'm just curious as to what you could possible have in common with a 16 year old.

We have a lot in common: food, music, movies... And she is quite mature for a 16 year old.

Unfortunately According To The Japanese Law, You Can Not Have Any Sexual Activity With Anyone Under The Age of 18.
