There are plenty of girls just like that, doesn't matter if they are Japanese or not.

...Anyways, I think you've already figured out that it's not a Japanese thing. It's a two-faced, particular woman thing. It's the same for both sexes, and all nationalities. Every race has it's liars and cheats. You just happened to find one that managed to pull the wool over your eyes for a year. Yet at the same time...you saw it, but maybe because of your feelings you weren't ready to admit it? Learn from your mistake with this one, and I hope you find better in the future. No one deserves to be treated that way in a relationship.
