Reputation Points
Is it better if Administrators of Japan Forum also add a function of Reputation Points and Reputation Power, As other many forums have, by that we can easily know; who is the best person providing good information about Japan and other members likes or dislikes him/her, and who is a good writer etc. What do you think? |
Sweet idea! So, we would tell what we think of others and their information they give?
|
Maybe more something like what I saw on an other forum: Thank you
That you can click a button to thank someone for information or a post that was valuable in some way to them so you can thank people and your profile will say how many you received and how many you gave. Something like that |
Yes!

Ok! I like Coolnard, Yuri, xjrockerxnekox, Maks, Musashi, samuri_ninja_alchemist, and Tangents posts the best. Easy to follow and cool people! I miss Kasumi89, she had to leave because someone was bothering her.:( I\'ve never done a forum thing before and glad I joined this one. Everything is so fun to read and it is interesting to see others posts. I like the, welcome to my crib, throw something to the next person, and do you like to draw, threads. The Tale of stories is also great, it is coming along so well. Keep up the good work guys!

I\'m a member of a forum that uses Reputation Points.
I\'ve heard that at the beginning, the whole Reputation thing was fine, but now it\'s a source of discord. People accuse others of being "rep-beggers" since they have so much Reputation and yet have posted so little. Others lord their high Reputation over others. In other words, it can be quite unpleasant. |
Hmmmm... Perhaps you are both right. It is sad that another cannot accept that others are voted higher than themselves, though the highest voted person may have worked hard on their posts. Perhaps we could change this thread to a kudos thread for good posts...
|
Yea, kudos, like simular to the thank you think I mentioned
