I hope to see more of Tomoyo and Kyou and less of Nagisa (which is impossible) in the second season.

Judging from the teaser I guess the second season will be centered around Nagisa and her loved ones. The other characters will probably in it as well but perhaps more like secondaries. And maybe some new characters will be introduced too (well, at least one...).

It will be broadcasted in Japan, so regardless of the number of episodes (which will likely be more than 1)it's a new season and definitely not an OVA. Episode 24 of the first series will be the only OVA for now.

No, this is not an OVA, it is the second season and it has been announced by Kyoto Animation. Well, the OVA is episode 24 which was cancelled from the first season and it is going to be out in July.
