I hope Blood+ fans also check out the manga that comes out this month and the novels (I think March).

The manga goes in some interesting and different directions from the anime...

I spend most of my time in a bookstore buying so many novels of anime....I really gotta stop

Is it common for anime to different when its published manga? Like one short segment will be included in the manga, but not on video?

It's not appropriate.

Have anyone seen Trinity Blood? It's also a great show...it's like Blood Plus, but just a little wacky!

Thank you, animeomarguy.

Yes. Please don't link to illegal download/posting sites. Please edit and remove the link. I'd hate to have to report it and then you get a warning or worse.

I say this because Blood+ is a title I am working on bringing to English, and illegal download sites put ME out of business.

About the Blood+ anime/novel/manga. I can give you a little scoop.

I, too, read/watch series in all forms (anime/novelization/manga). Some compliment each other well, and some don't.

But I have never seen an anime/manga/novelization that compliments each other as well as Blood+ does (MAYBE Ghost in the Shell comes close). The novels and anime are very close in storyline, but the novel adds a LOT of vital details. Reading the novels will really make you want to watch the anime again (if you haven't) as you can see many small details the novels focus on that you wouldn't normally notice in the anime. I can't go into any more detail than that, but I bet you are going to love it.

The manga, on the other hand, goes in a bit of a different direction. It's a little darker and more "mature" than the anime, but very very cool.
