Both! I love both kinds of anime! I love Hellsing and Gunslinger Girl and Samurai Champloo and Samurai deeper Kyo! Ahhhh swords and gun.

Love Swords.

It makes for a much more artistic anime.

Besides, fights are way cooler and it's more about skill and strenght thank aim and luck.

my single exceptions

Vash from Trigun

and

dante from devil may cry.

Swords ftw! Swords are much more dramatic and I think to use a gun is to fight without honor.

IMO, whether or not it's a "Sword anime" or a "Gun anime", is pretty irrelevant. If the series has a boring or uninteresting storyline or plot to me, then I won't watch it.
