I just finished watching Bleach 156 and am wondering what the hell is happening to this anime. It is beginning to become a parody of itself and has taken a turn towards The Lame. I used to look forward to each episode but lately I feel like I am sitting through twenty-four minutes of pointless dialogue and action which is ignoring story development for flashy visuals and sight gags. Is the anime diverging from its manga roots or does the manga get lame too?

I've been watching it on AdultSwim, and they seem to have taken a break from showing new episodes for awhile, but I deffinatly thought it got boring and repetative by episode 30-ish I couldn't imagine watching 150+ episodes. I'm deffinatly not watching the whole story.

I stopped watching subbed eps of Bleach back in July, so I'm like six months or so behind. I'd just grown bored of it.
At what ep did the Hueco Mondo arc start? I'm considering going back to it.
