For those reading the manga....

I am confused about the fact that drinking a pure blood's blood is taboo.

I understand what they are saying, but I would think that this taboo would not pertain to everything. For example, if two pure blood's are married (eg. Juuri & Haruka Kuran) wouldn't they drink blood from each other? I would think that's a given...so is it a taboo then?

& if THAT is not taboo, then how would it be taboo in any other case? Like when Kaname drinks Shizuka Hiou's blood. True, they are not married, but still, drinking is drinking, right?
Then Zero drinks Yuuki's & Kaname's blood....then Kaname drink's Yuuki's blood...then Yuuki drinks Kaname's blood....so are they all cursed now? (I am referring to the fact that when Kaname drank Shizuka's blood, she told him that he has called upon a dark future for himself.)

Is only a taboo for other vampires that are lower than a pure blood such as zero who drank kaname's blood. Also a taboo for pureblood to drink another pureblood for power gain such as Kaname did with Shizuka Hiou. Is mostly a taboo because pure bloods are in the top of the vampire pyrimid and are highly respected.

okay, so was the last chapter that was printed(in shojo beat, which is where I saw it) chapter 39 or a chapter later than that?

Oh yeah, I love the anime too....I love Kaname!!

I hope that the fact that he drank Shizuka's blood for power doesn't do anything bad to him...I mean, the poor guy has already gone so much....it's sad how he always looks so tormented.

I don't read Shojo Beat, but the last chapter that I have read is 39 - in OneManga.

Yeah onemanga is a great place to read manga. Also shojo beat but it goes slower because is very behind from the japanese.

Anyway what you think is going to happen later in the manga I can't wait.

I haven't actually ever read Shojo Beat, but yeah, OneManga rocks!!

I don't know exactly what to expect as per the upcoming episodes of the manga....I am worried about Kaname & what is going to happen to him mainly, esp since Shizuka said he has a dark future ahead of him...frankly, I feel the guy has already suffered alot, & deserves some (or alot!!) of happiness.

I love Zero too, & don't think he is dead - I think that his death would be of no use...I can't actually think of the word I want to say, but Zero has so much to do, his death (at least at this point) would serve no purpose. Does that make me sound cold??

Of course, if I had to choose between Zero or Kaname, Kaname would win hands down!! lol

What do you think??

I am dying for the next chapter to come out!! Hopefully, it will be out by the 24th.....

Love Hurts by Incubus fits well with both zero and kaname love for yuki. One man is going to have Yuki! Poor zero he really loves yuki he was in the point in kissing her. Now in the latest chapter in the manga I don't think is going to happen.
