Wow, bit personal but I will bite.

First was probably Cowboy Bebop when I was younger. A few of the more emotional episodes were very worth a tear or two.

All it really takes it for you to really develope a strong connection with the characters and for something to happen.

A few times in Gungrave ( Awesome story by the way, even before the sci-fi )
Naruto - Hokage, Jiraiya, Sasuke( Fake death ), Asuma

I could prolly make a rediculous list but I think I will leave it there.

On a nerdy point though, June 26th of 2008 when Blizzard released that they are working on Diablo 3 I went to the site. The Diablo 3 music that started playing while the screen was still blank, had me shed 1-2 tears of joy.
