I prefer Shonen myself, for stuff like Bleach, Death Note and One Piece

Both and neither, it depends on my mood at the time. My collection is very diverse; I like a little of everything and am not really partial to one genre over the other.

I like Shojo mostly. It should be noted that Love Hina is a shonen, as it is geared towards boys.

yea... i thought bout tht too... but then agen... its pretty girly considering it doesnt have those types of bloodiness like naruto or bleach...
since ther r more girls, u have to understand how the girls' feel towards keitaro... thts his name right?
lol
id ont kno if im right.... iv only heard of bishonen... doesnt tht mean beautiful boys?
im making this one up... bishojo... if this word even existed, does it mean beautiful girls?
lol
it is said tht love hina is like negima so i figure they wer both shojo even though the main character is a guy...
idk... an expert shud figure this one out...
i just seperate shojo and shonen from their bloodiness...

I like both but my first love was Shojo coz of fushigi yuugi

The four palaces of the heavens.
The four corners of the Earth.
In the name of sacred law, faith, and virtue...
I summon thee, Suzaku, guardian of the south.

I beseech you to appear on Earth, from the palaces of heaven.
For the sake of those here who adore you and who await your presence.

Come to us!
And with your mighty power, destroy all that is evil which threatens us.
Save us and grant us our wishes.

Descend to us now from the heavens above!

Fushigi Yuugi

The shonen storylines are more to my particular taste as they tend to be less cliched and generally less superficial...but at the same time I am actually more likely to buy a shojo because the artwork is just so much more beautiful and rounded and idealistic and I kind of like that. My love for this style was also founded through reading Fushigi Yugi.

I like both.

Which is Angel Sanctuary considered? I love that manga, but I've only seen Vol. 1 and 2
