ok lol THIS IS A WIKIPEDIA SYNOPSIS :
The entire title is "Bastard! Destructive God Of Darkness" In Bastard!!, the Kingdom of Meta rikana is attacked by four armies. This prompts Dark Schneider, a wizard, to awaken within the body of 14-year old Lucian Lenren. Bastard!!'s history is about sorcery, revenge, and other power struggles in a Dungeons & Dragons-like world. It is a dystopian world, where people need magic to survive against wild beasts, and evil monsters. There are endless rulers, each one with his own army of knights and mages, who fight for survival against those beasts and the armies of multiple evil sorcerers. This world can be perfectly described by the words from the opening: "Several hundred years, after the fall of human civilization... It was a lawless period, a time without order. Only blood, flesh, bone, and iron... It was also a time of Sorcery... Having been terrorized by demonic creatures their entire lives, humans beings were miserably inadequate, and forced to subsist in a barren, beastly environment." in the mange this story take like 5 or 6 volume but After the author smoke somethings and the manga take 180° (more girl, more blood, more fight=less story) I Honestly, seriously and truly.....don't care about U

Bastard sounds like a very good anime/manga. I love D&D, but I don't play it because my friend doesn't anymore so I have no one to play with.
Have you ever seen Mazes and Monsters koaku? |

I'm fairly new to the Anime world but I already find certain ones to be more interesting than others. I like: Cowboy Bebop, Akira, and last but not least, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.
What made me simply fall in love with the latter was the theme song, Inner Universe. So soulful and beautiful, yet electronic and edgy at the same time. Perfect for that story. There is a lot of philosophy in GITS to chew on, and I like it when an Anime can both entertain and intellectually stimulate me. I found the second episode in the first season to be quite touching, and I almost cried. The series really makes one question what it truly means to be human. |
