Er...

I've seen a heck of a lot of anime ^_^; I can't say that I could actually pick one or even just a few anime that I would call the "best."

But I would agree with the vote for Fullmetal Alchemist.

For anime of the samurai genre, Samurai Champloo and Samurai 7 were very well done.

For mecha anime, I thought Gundam Wing and Gundam SEED were the best Gundam series I have seen so far.

Fruits Basket was also, in my opinion, very good. But I know plenty of people who would disagree ^_^

That's all I can think of for now.

On a side note, QueenNanami, is that Zettai Kareshi (Absolute Boyfriend) I see as your avatar?
I agree completly.

My all-time favorite anime, out of all the ones I have seen, would have to be either Saiyuki:Reload, or Karas:The Prophecy

I've seen people agree with FMA, but it seems as though I'm the only one that's said Trigun too...

Trigun is cool in some ways, but it's overpowered by other anime's with guns...

I must say after seeing a lot of great anime's but Death Note really is on top, far on top.

Starrin' & Teasin'
CandyHolic.

I have seen alot, but Bleach sticks out above the rest. Elfen Lied is also another favorite. It is the only one that almost made me cry...though I cried inside. FMA is also good, but, it lacked a great ending, it was mediocre. So, it doesn't get first place.

Elfen Lied is really cool. The bit with the puppy was pretty sick though.
Have you seen the 'happy ending'?

DO YOU JUST WANT TO SEE IF UR GOOD AT KEEPING UR EMOTIONS TO URSELF?
lol
ok if u havent seen fushigi yuugi, see it now!
especially if u have time... of course... LadyShinigami gave a huge spoiler in her post of You know you watch too many anime when...
or something like tht... [im used to talking to LadyShinigami... we do not treat each other like total strangers... XD]
i kno i gave one out too... sooo if u havent seen her post, dont read it... thts a major point of the show... its suppose to make u cry but u have to know the characters bfor u watch the scenes...the show actually allows u to feel like the character's actual friend, thts y u cry wen a huge problem pops up...
v.v the first time i saw it i cried.... about 7 times...
XD
or 6... or 5... one of those three holds the true answer... idk which one though....

Anime is like a relative...
You cry for it...
You yell at it...
And sometimes... you might even hate it

Don't cry because it ended. Smile because it happened.

Best anime i watched so far?
From bottom to top:
i'd hv to go with (God knows how many r there)dragonball Z, rurouni kenshin, mahou sensei negima, inuyasha, naruto, one piece, mai-hime, bleach, deathnote and gundam seed destiny.

SideNoteeathnote oughta win an award for the most unpredictable anime ever lol. It's friggin realistic even tho it's a supposedly fictional story and they really thought of everything, even the most minor details can determine who'll triumph over the other. Everything's jus so carefully thought-out and analysed and planned.. Even the counter measures the characters use against one another and the methods they use to hide their true identity and the way they work behind each other's backs. It's absolutely flawless. A gd anime is one of which u cant easily distinguish the paperthin line between gd and evil as the anime producers make sure both parties have decent reasons and intentions behind their actions of "justice". Both jus seem so right, yet so different. So in the end, it all goes back to square one-the one who's mor powerful wins in the end and his actions r automatically justified. That's wad my signature is implying anyway :P

There's no such thing as happy endings, for when you find true love, happiness is everlasting.
