I really liked "blame!" . Weird and hard to understand, but that`s why I liked it even more.

Glad to see somebody else mention "Blame!". Tsutomu Nehei is one of my all time favorite artists. b(")d

If I had to pic one, and I'm sure I'm going to raise a few eyebrows with this (it always does), my current favorite anime is Eureka Seven. I got a few DVDs on netflix, and watched the rest fansubbed. No joke, I cried in the end. That never happens to me, ever. If you don't believe me, watch the whole series back to back in a few days subbed in Japanese. Break the 13 episode mark and it's a whole different show. It will remind you why you like anime.

There's not much manga on swedish television. At least not as I've seen <_<; .. Uh, well, I don't watch much manga, but what I grew up with was Sailor Moon, Pokemon, and later on Yu gi oh. Ok, I've never really watched Yu gi oh, but my little brother does xD

I watched half of that movie xD ^

Smile good so far! - 02-24-2007, 12:16 AM

I love most of what people here have already posted-
But do NOT underestimate Pokemon!!
I just finished watching 'Mewtwo Returns', the sequal to "Mewtwo Strikes Back" and it's just great! XD Not so sure about the quality of the animation itself (maybe it's just my dvd - lol) but the story is good! It contains so many philosphical issues, such as bioethics (cloning etc), exile, the ultimate question of life and existance, etc. Now that I'm older- I'm seeing things-_- (haha maybe it's just the weird education i'm reciving... anyone know about IB?) Anyway due to my ...probably weird education... i have recieved an urge to write an essay about it. (300 words so far ) I don't know if anyone would be interested in it though XD "Philosophic Issues of Mewtwo Returns" OMG seriously!!
--------------
Anyway- (LOL)
I recently finished OVA 4(th season) of HunterXHunter and it's exellent too!
People might think it's a bit childish, but i like childish!! haha BUT! i think it contains too much violence for kids to watch The world of HunterXHunter is so amazing and broad- Yoshihiro Togashi is a genious!XD I really hope he starts writing more of it!!
--------------
Anyway- 2
Does anyone know the Suzumiya Haruhi series? >_<
It's really hillarious!! It's based on the popular novels, but there is also an animation of it too! (be warned- you won't understand it if you watch it in the proper order of 1,2,3,4,5.....and on) Aliens, espers or people with special powers, time/dimension travelers are welcome>_<
--------------
Anyway-3
Konjiki no Gash (Bell)!! is totally CUTE!! (english title was Zatch Bell, i think)
It's about 100 demon (children) sent to earth to fight each other to be the king of their world. It takes place every 1000 years. The demon needs a (human) partner to use its spell book and if the spell book is burnt by another demon, the demon has to return to its world. The last one left will be the King (or queen^^) The main character GashBell is so cute and funny! The first scene when he comes out in the anime is him flying on Kiyomaro (his future parner, hansome>_< and a real genious) naked with a large fish on his back It has a lot of action and comedy- you'll either be enjoying action half and laughing half- oh it is rather touching sometimes too!
-------------
Anyway-4
It's getting quite long now so i'll have to end soon!
Yes i also like all the other animes like full metal, bleach, fate and whatmore~^^
I have to look for some thing new to watch now i've finished HunterXHunter, and this place has been helped me choose my next animation- so thank you to past posters

And i'm sorry but i can't stop writing=_=
Azumanga Daioh, Everything by 'Clamp', (Legend of) Twelve countries(?) (十二國記) (the animation based on the novel), Glass mask (ガラスの仮面 Garasu no Kamen) are also MUST SEEs. Oh i gotta stop myself from writing more. . . so bye bye
