Gundam Wing - 11-04-2008, 05:31 PM

Does anyone watch this anime anymore!?

Instead of watching Nicktoons and Disney I watched Gundam, DragonBall, Zoids and the like....makes me feel old almost.

I found this full season of anime on Zomganime and I am having a blast re-watching it all. Duo Maxwell has to be my absolute favorite. None of my friends have watched it all being shonen-ai lovers so I'm out to find fellow fans! =3

Aw! It's still as awesome as it has always been.
The graphic's are soo old but still cool compared to the new Gundam's.

I used to watch it years ago. Still got the discs lying round here somewhere. I just couldn't get into it, that was all.
And Duo is an awesome character. Laid back, and stylish all at once.

Geh I broke my dvd's T~T
I bought the anime for a birthday and when we moved somehow my dirtbike fell over on a case of my anime. Alot of stuff got broken.
I'm looking to buy new ones.

I adore Duo, then Quatra, Trowa, Heero and Chang! Zechs was always cool and Relena was sooo dorky but funny and cool at the same time. =3

I'll concur, Duo is the coolest of them all, but having re-watched Gundam Wing on years after having watched it the first time I must say that... it...was... kind of confusing.
Quite a few of the characters seem to display random changes of heart. Such as one example I can recall vaguely; When Wufang (I don't recall the spelling of his name) is talking to a rebel soldier who is telling him he's not needed nor wanted and he needs to just go away. Then suddenly an aries flies over burning him up, and all of a sudden he's telling Wulfang how great a fighter he is and how much they HAVE to have him >.> <.<
Maybe I missed something >.>
I loved the show greatly back when it first aired on Cartoon Network before I had ever seen the original Gundam.

Deathsythe: all forms. There's something about a giant, mecha being portrayed as the anthropomorphic personifiction of Death. Plus, the rest were all.....well, tried and tested ideas.
Wing/Wing 0: Transforming fighter/all rounder
Sandrock: Dual wielding, close combat
Heavyarms: guns, lots of guns
Shenlong/Altron/Nataku (whatever it was called): A remake of the Dragon gundam from G:Gundam. Literally.
Deathscythe: close combat, yes. But stealth capable and with a huge beam-scythe. What more could I ask for?
