The Escaflowne Movie is pretty awesome! Doesnt follow the series, has more action and better animation

they didn't have Mello or Near or Matt, but it was pretty good. I saw it in English with the anime dub in theaters, but you can watch it with the Japanese dub on youtube, too.

if you're looking for something to make you cry, I suggest The Place Promised In Our Early Days... I hate it so much it's so tragical and sad and everything T_______T but it made me realize what I really want! I want to go home... when I first watched it, I was pretty far from home, now I'm almost there =P
