EVANGELION which is resently remaked in japan is great film! ast week I saw the movie in the theater, a capacity full ,and it was so compelling that I almost lost my voice.

I'm surprised no one's mention Fullmetal Alchemist - The Conqueror of Shamballa. The only anime I've seen in a movie theater sadly enough, but my god I loved it.

Sky Crawlers (which is visually stunning)

Sword of the Stranger (some of the best sword play iv seen in an anime in a while)

Both are available on DVD and Bluray.
