Magazines are great, and what I pay most attention to. It's difficult for me to spend money on a tankoban unless I already know for sure that I'll like it. And if it's a series I know I enjoy, I prefer to get the jumbo tankoban if available. Of course, magazines are limited in the US, which is sad. When I reach the point of semi-literacy in Japanese, I will find someone in Japan willing to get them and send them to me!
That'd be a regular tankoban, from what I can see. Jumbo tankoban are usually several regular tankoban volumes compiled. |
