Regular tankobon, and sometimes jumbo tankobon. I'm a pretty quick reader, so I like manga to last for a while, and floppies and magazines don't cut it for me.

Regular tankobon.
The weekly compilations are too much of a pain to keep up with and buy, and are awful to store - especially when you`re only interested in a series or two.

A quick question of my own - do they still refer to them as tankobon outside of Japan?

If anyone is trying to find me… Tamyuun on Instagram is probably the easiest.

regular tankobon & floppies. :3

But to despair was to wish back for something already lost.
Or to prolong what was already unbearable.

Magazines are great, and what I pay most attention to. It's difficult for me to spend money on a tankoban unless I already know for sure that I'll like it. And if it's a series I know I enjoy, I prefer to get the jumbo tankoban if available. Of course, magazines are limited in the US, which is sad. When I reach the point of semi-literacy in Japanese, I will find someone in Japan willing to get them and send them to me!

That'd be a regular tankoban, from what I can see. Jumbo tankoban are usually several regular tankoban volumes compiled.

Dammit, you beat me to it.

But seriously, I never held a real manga in my hands, so I can't answer that question.
