Scen: If I recall correctly, though I may be wrong, it was said that Haku's Ice Mirrors couldn't be broken or melted

Sasori: Haku has good defenses, too, and like I said...Haku could use his speed to get to Gaara before he can cover himself in sand.

Take the Chuunin Exam fights of Gaara VS Lee and Gaara VS Sasuke, Lee and Sasuke's speed was able to overcome Gaara's sand, Sasuke was too far away and couldn't make it in time... Haku has the speed and those needle things, forgot the name, and could throw one or more of them to edge into the Sand Cacoon before it fully completes if need be... I'm going to try to get my point across, but if I fail, oh well
