nope. just the other day, my english teacher was calling anime: 'cartoons.' and my friend at my table said that pokemon was a cartoon. we argued about it a little bit till the teacher told us to stop before we get a lunch detetion. is pokemon a cartoon or a anime thing?

Pokemon is an anime.

I don't get annoyed when someone calls anime a cartoon (I don't do it), but since I know what US cartoons are like (some exceptions), I understand why it can be insulting.

Compare foster's home and what was that show about some kid being able to transform into 10 different alien dudes using a watch to anime like Samurai X? Geez ~_~ I mean, how can they even compare it like that??

Please don't call Pokemon a anime that would be a huge insult for the animes!

The show about the kid who can turn into 12+ aliens is called Ben10. It's not as good as some anime but I think it is one of Cartoon Network's better original shows along with Justice League Unlimited.
