Disclaimers might solve some of the problem, however I suspect the real issue is that the majority of people who post anime vids on the net don't actually have the legal right to make the vids publicly accessible.

Don't feel bad about watching anime on the net, CN-kun. In my opinion the authorities need to consider why it is that so many people choose to watch anime on the internet rather than on television. They can't just forbid sites like youtube to host fan-subbed anime eps (ok, so they prolly can, but that's not my point ); if they really want to solve the problem they need to think about how they can make "tv-based" anime more attractive to viewers.

That might be a little hard... Taking into consideration that the net has free, almost unlimited, and always available anime-only series that you can watch for hours... O_O
P.S. annelie-neechan!!! *snuggles huggles wuggles * There's no such thing as happy endings, for when you find true love, happiness is everlasting.

lol, hello, ototo-chan! *ruffles hair affectionately*
You have a very good point there. The only way in which tv can really compete with online anime is to become cheaper and to increase the range of anime shows that are broadcast. Forbidding one thing in favor of the other is just stupid. |
