If you want your I.Q. to go up watch pbs or the discovery channel. Tobi13, I think you are definatley biased twoards Japanese stuff. Not being rude, but people who are biased, there opinions don't really matter, becuase they have their mind made up from the start.
You can learn a lot from Anime actually.

Why should i be explaing this? - 06-12-2007, 04:45 AM

What on earth are you doing in this thread ensoninoue1????????
The main religions in Japan are Shinto and Buddhism. Anime is a reflection on japanese culture, their religion, beliefs....all anime is tied in with their religion, it reflects what is taught and to reinforce that.
Anime is for every age, it is something to identify with.

If you can't understand that, don't bother replying!!!

You learn Japanese, a Language...never heard of it before? Stuff about Japanese culture. And lots of things that get explained in certain anime. And to your question...yes.

And what evidence do you have?
I can say I learned a lot of Japanese from Anime, and if I started to learn it properly I'd have a good bench mark from which to start learning from.
You can learn from T.V's, kids watch it and they learn, adults watch and they learn.
You can learn from playing games, you can learn from almost anything.

I think I and others would know if we learn from Anime or not more than you..

If you did, us Americans would have the smartest kids on the planet, which we obviously don't. Still you have not backed up that anime has made your I.Q. go up, please tell me how it has made it go up, I would love to hear.
...Kids shows, you know, the ones that teach kids to count and simple words. And adults can watch a documentary. I use my mind when I watch TV..

You still have not told me how your I.Q. went up from watching anime, you must have been making that part up. Just admit that you made an idiotic comment and I will let it go. We can go back and forth as long as you want to make yourself look stupid.
I think i'd know if Anime taught me anything. You know where I stand.
Anyway, i'm going to be the bigger boy and end this, unike you I originally came here to post about wonderful Japan, not to argue.
