Seasom 1 DOES seem to have thew most-instestes characters (human and mon) of the seasons I've seen

Yes, it is of course the market and demand. Though I simply don't agree that the 10 y/o market is the one driving the whole thing. Everybody knows that anime is driven in large part by the teen to 20s market (and older), not the 10 year olds. This trend isn't at all about the designs trying to liken to the age of their audience, not even close. The demand for it is an overall one. That goes back to my main point and the one of this thread: what is the forecast for the future, the demand continues the trend or shifts?

Bullshit, shounen is the most popular genre, not seinen. It mostly consists of 10-15 year olds but sometimes adults (yeah there are people who like it).

The most popular anime come from shounen, but they are poorly rated. Seinen gets the best rating.

You know nothing about anime and your point is still invalid. Everybody knows that the design of an anime is driven by the category it falls into.
