at first i must say that i'm old school anime.i don't care much for this CG stuff.however being a good STAR WARS fan,i did like the THE CLONE WARS feature film.one thing that bothered me though was from the original STAR WARS ,is when one of the rebels is killed,it's terrible.yet,when they blow up the deathstar and thousands die,everyone cheers.it took me a long time to figure out that most of them were clones with no real lives of their own.now with the clone wars series on DVD they have 22 epidsodes to work with.and with two more seasons on the way there's plenty of time for development.the clones are designed to fight and die.but in the series,they live long enough to experience life.some to the point of questioning orders and even their own existence.with galactic mythos,villian development and good effects,it seems we have a good series here.is it popular in japan?
