Its actually surprising. Ive spent at least 100 bucks on manga . Not to mention the anime I have bought too.

You can't expect to have money all the time. It's the case with almost all of the people who read manga online. They know it's not good, but what can you do??
I certainly wouldn't go online and steal it. If you don't have the money to buy it, you don't get to read it. That simple.

I can't afford to buy a Lexus. So what happens? I don't get to drive one. Same with anything else.

Yet you have no problem going home and getting on your computer and stealing the manga there, because in your mind since there's no tangible object, the crime you're committing isn't as bad as stealing from the store, when in fact it's the same thing.

I would normally tell people who enjoy a hobby that there's no way to steal (such as videogames, for the most part) that they should find a new hobby. If they're struggling that hard to afford their hobby, then they should be putting that money somewhere else, in a more important area. In your case, I can't really give you that advice because the money you're not spending by stealing just becomes disposable income.

I'm sorry you have a hard time purchasing manga, but I feel sorrier for the artist you're stealing from.
Don't you think that I feel sorry for the artist, too? I don't ever want to scam the artist like this .To tell the truth, I don't read manga online a lot (Only VK and about 2 others), but I do feel guilty. Money is hard to come by these days, especially when you're in school.

Thank you for your wise but harsh advise, MMM.

If you can't afford to read manga, you can't afford to read manga.

The problem is that people steal it online, don't pay for it, and then mentally they are putting the value of the manga at $0.00. This is why manga publishers in the US are going out of business.

I am so glad they are joining forces and fighting these illegal sites using lawyers.

I seriously hope this is worth it and we get more anime on TV!

I gave up Clannad on YouTube until I get a job . . .At 15 that isn't happening soon.

And I never read manga now-a-days . . .

My Life Sucks- The kids I babysit have drooled, ripped or drawn on all of the cards and put the cars with the little people in the microwave!

I have no Friends- The cats have scratched and destroyed all of the DVDs!

I always owe someone- In fact I put two os in it!

I always ruin my clothes with Bleach!- The show is so dom suspensful I spill my grape soda on them!

But . . .I'll live.

I see people doing that here in the combini, just hanging in the back, reading the manga, and this includes adults. I never actually see them buy it. I guess it's the same concept.

That aside, when I was stateside, I usually bought my manga from B&N, but I had a membership discount.
