You REALLY REALLY know your obsessed with anime when you imagine that your favorite character lives with you but their invisible so that's why no one else can see them. And you think you can read each others thoughts and you talk to each other telepathically because the character knows that if you were to talk to them out loud your family would think you were insane.

--When you and your friends that like anime--and even some who don't--have anime nicknames like Sasuke, Kiba, Neji, Ino, Shino, Shino the Second, Ichigo, Renji, Gin, etc.

--When you give all your teachers anime nicknames: Kakashi, Iruka, Kurenai, InuYasha, Miroku, Shippo, etc.

--When you ask for nothing but anime-related stuff for Christmas/Birthday.

--When you and/or your friends have character obsessions that either change a lot or last for a reallllly long time.

--When you see something and it reminds you of something from an anime and you burst out laughing but everyone else thinks you're crazy.

--When you wear your Naruto headband every day.

--When you wear a 5-yen piece on a necklace every day.

--When you want to look like your favorite anime character.

--When you have never worn a skirt before but you say that the ONLY way you will EVER wear a skirt is if you're cosplaying or if you go to Japan.

when you wish you life was an anime...and then think it kinda is

when you can tell another prsn the entire story of SM with all major battles, name all the protagonist and antagonists from all the seasons, in order, in less than an hour (true story)

when you start thinking about an anime and want to watch it but you cant think the name of it cuz your head is too full of anime/manga so you go on a mad/crazy hunt for it on the net or call your friend to help you organize your brain

I can relate to some of that! My 4 year old requests to watch Inuyasha. However, my husband belittles me for watching "those weird cartoons". Oh, to have a spouse that loves anime!! You're lucky! BTW, my cat is Hana (she has a funny nose!).

-absolutely MUST watch at least an episode or two of a fave anime before being able to go to bed
-once there, dream you are your favorite anime character
-in the a.m., you look forward to the night when you can complete the anime cycle once more!!!!

Oh man, I didn't think I was that obsessed and I apply to a lot of these! OH NOOOOOOOO ¦3 Actually I'll admit I'm a total otaku, I just havn't watched anything very recently. It's just sitting on my computer, waiting to be watched.... >.> Brb.
