Ok where do I start? First of all I watched your link to the anime power puff girls...and it was weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I would like to get back on the topic of Rumiko Takahashi. Inuyasha and Ranma are both GREAT! However, if you realy admire Takahashi, you should read/watch more of her work. If you liked Ranma you should try Urusei Yatsura (a.k.a. the return of lum) Its a comedy alot like Ranma, It has alot of slapstick, goofy characters, and just some realy odd stuff. Also try Maison Ikkoku, its another comedy but its alot more mature. It has alot of romance, and drama. Even the comedy is more mature. Its less about the goofy characters and hijinks and more sexual humor. Then try Mermaid Saga, its also more seriouse. Its action/horror about eating the flesh of a mermaid enabaling one to achive imortality. Then "one pound gosspel" is another great seriese by RT this one is sooooooooo WEIRD! Also hilariose!! Its a love story between a nun and a boxer!!! Then I would try "Rumic theater" and "rumic world" which is a collection of short stories she wrote the diffrent genres in these stories realy range (action, comedy, romance, horror, etc). Their is so much varity in all of her works so PLEASE read as much as you can! |

Yes that was the second movie. I dont think the thing was an oni. It was somthing else but I cant remember what it was called. He didnt exactly grant wishes he just made people dream good stuff.
If the store you buy anime has the first Urusei Yatsura (LUM) movie then I would recomend buying it. Most stores dont carry ANY of the DVD's anymore. Most of my Urusei Yatsura collection I got off the internet. You can get box sets from the animeigo official site. Also, of course ebay, amazon, and froogle. If you dont want to spend to much money, I would recomend signing up for netflix. They have the whole seriese, all the movie, and the OVA's. |

Inu Yahsa is really good. I can't say I took to Ranma 1/2 as well though. I prefer serious themes and Ranma was a bit too goofy for my liking. Inu Yasha did repeat itself quit often, though if you're patient enough new things turn up once in a while. I liked the manga better than the anime although they're very close (which is surprising compared to other manga that became anime)... and Sesshomaru is my favourite character. His moves are soo cool with Tokujin and...

you can generally buy anime at discount prices online << i've done that a few times...most of my collection came from either Suncoast (which is apparently out of business here) and pawn shops though
