Another great issue of Newtype to start the year with. The January 2011 issue of Newtype is special in many ways. It's my first January edition ever, it has 209 awesome pages + a manga episode + 2 normal size posters (Hakuoki Hekketsu-roku & Kuroshitsuji II) + 1 large poster (Gothicmade) + Otome-type booklet + Neon Genesis Evangelion Theatrical Version Weiss Schwarz PR card + Newtype Creators 2011 Calendar . Newtype has outdone itself this time with all these supplements & additional 40 pages. Good job guys!

This is the first time I bought Dengeki Girl's Style magazine and I must say I really like it. After going through only a first few pages I started wishing I knew how to read Japanese so I could enjoy this magazine completely! As the name of this magazine says, it's mainly targeting girls since it's all about the latest PSP otome-type games with beautiful male characters centered around a single girl. Each character is more beautiful than the next and I must say I quite enjoyed & was taking my time going through all the 211 pages of Dengeki Girl's February 2011 issue!
I had fun browsing through it and was actually surprised by the quality of the pages which are much thicker than what I was used to in Animedia & Newtype as well as the beautiful full color print.
The appendix in this issue was a gorgeous 12-page high quality desktop calendar starting the year off with Hakuoki & continuing with hot guys from PSP games.

Finally, it's here!! The latest edition of Dengeki Girl's Style arrived this morning. I was really looking forward to this one since it has beautiful 211 pages of amazing illustrations from the latest games & anime as well as the OMG cute strap of Kagurazaka from Starry Sky! When I bought this one I didn't think the strap was anything special, but I was surprised to see the awesome level of details & amazing quality, so I just kinda loved it instantly.
The cover is featuring Starry Sky with 3 characters from the anime. Inside there is a lot of info about a whole bunch of new games & anime featuring all kinds of handsome & cool guys & girls. Definitely worth getting!

well u forgot Shonen Jump, that's a pretty popular one in America. That and Shojo Beat (well before it was discontinued :<) Yeah, i love Shonen Jump though, they have Bleach, Naruto Shippuden, One Piece, Psyren( newly added awesomenss), and YuGiOh 5D's( not really fond of it though lol) They also show little previews of other new manga that come out, which helps you keep up with whats new. They used 2 have the kanji lessons and info about new Video games, but now with the new layout, it's not up there anymore.

It's been a while since I wrote about a magazine, but here I go again! My Dengeki Bunko May 2011 issue arrived yesterday with a pretty nice omake (free stuff/gifts) & a Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko cover. I was surprised by the quantity of the free gifts that arrived with it.
In this issue you get Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko pencil case, To Aru Majutsu no Index mechanical pencil & Ore no Imouto 4 color pen which write in red, green, blue & black color. The gifts were pretty cool!
This issue is also pretty thick when it comes to the number of pages; there are 512. I must say I was expecting it to have an equal number of anime & manga pages, but instead it balances out anime, manga and light novel stories. I was also surprised by the manga inside, it was really interesting and cool, definitely worth checking out! The anime part was pretty nice as well, had a lot of new info about some upcoming anime later this year, as well as the currently ongoing anime. All in all, I liked this issue and I hope there will be more issues like this one, totally worth buying!
