Pardon, I'm not in a good mood now, sorry if i came on offensively.

Nope, i just wanted to know which came first ^^ but if you dont know then it's alright.

Yes, specifically, the producers are the ones who decide, right?

I'm so sorry Nard-kun, I should have brain surgery today, because I don't know what you mean when you just said

"which one came first"

I already told you the movies came out first, but that is not the true storyline, the anime came out second and follows the true story line.

I should step out of this convo because I am looking so dumb right now >_<

who decided the true storyline then? What defines true storyline? Oh, are you refering to the manga?

Okay, maybe this will clear it up. (I hope) *prays*

The manga was made first. (obviously)

The anime follows the manga, the manga was created by Tsugumi Oba, who made up the DN story, and everyone in it. So the anime, is more accurate to the true storyline, and I mean storyline, by the conclusion of events.

The movie creators (Warner Bros) took everything from the manga, including the ending, and mixed it all around. Taking events from book 11 and putting them in book 6. They totally scrambled the order of events, and made a movie out of it. The movie with the battle between just L and Light, is made up by Warner Bros.

So the manga came first, the anime is just like the manga. The movies take their own course in showing the events, a totally different scenario.

I pray this answers your questions, if not I will have to resign as L for being so dense!

Ahhhh!!!! I understand now... so basically the manga came out first, then the movie, followed by the anime!! Both the manga and anime consist of the same storyline but the movie is somehow mixed up... I got it ^_^

Lol, you speak too sophisticatedly, Kanji-kun... It's not you... It's me....

Lol, punch L? I dont wanna get L-kicked!! =P

*unbelievably hugely gigantic sigh of relief* *sighs* Yes! I am so happy you understand.

Awww! *Thanx for the confidence Nanami-chan and Rikku-chan huggles both at same time, while sitting on chair*

Yes the manga came first, about 3 years ago. And it finished at the start of 2006. The anime came in October, and is just like the books, and the books started it all. With the great mind of Tsugumi Oba, who invented DN
