Yeah, L should have never been replaced, but if he wasn't then you'd never learn about his background and life, unless Watari told Soichiro in private or something. Near is wicked awesome! But he'll never replace L.

Yeah they have been doing that with most animes recently, Naruto & Bleach Mania - Free Naruto Downloads and Forums - Anime and Manga is where I got mine from enjoy!
