@Rikku *hugs* - So then would you then be partial in letting criminal shinigami go? ... after all ryuk did steal a book

@Cooly - Truth be told I think Ruk is dumb ... first up he's totally bored in the shinigami world so he flings a book down into the human world thinking it's fun, but he's got no prior info about the book except for the rules written there already (and the one time where he says that touching the book will allow others to see him...) and for heaven's sake the rules are...written there already! It doesn't take a genius to figure it out...all you need is to be able to read and write... namely booksmart ..*mwahah!*... I thought Rem was wayy more intelligent than Ryuk

I became a member of that site, and just downloaded all the themes. (DN, L and Light) nice that theme I spoke of, is pretty much what I have been dying for! Arigato!

Yo Shino-kun! Nice of you to drop by!

Don't be fooled by Ryuk guys. He is much smarter then he lets on. He isn't as dumb as he appears to be.

Don't forget, he stole that Death Note, and had the Shinigami King write all the rules in there so humans would be able to use it. And he had all the rules written in the most popular human language: English. He is well aware of all the rules, and how it works.

Heya Kanji kun! ^_^... Nice to see you out here too! *lucky it's the weekend eh? Or you'd have work tomorrow... >_<*

oooh! was it him to made the king write the rules? ... Cheaters! They never mentioned that in the anime!.... so Ryuk is as cunning and intelligent as raito then?

When do the let it be known that Ryuk planted the rules in there then?

Np, Kanji-kun Call me biased, but Light's theme's my fav ^_^

Hmm... I coulda sworn they'd mentioned it in the anime already... or maybe kanji spoiled too much XD But given Ryuk's intelligence that Kanji spoke of, maybe they're the most compatible partners then..

Actually tomorrow, well later today, I work. It is Sunday but I work today.

Yeah Ryuk is definitely cunning. Maybe not as smart. But he does have brains. He just keeps his knowledge to himself, and lets Light figure out things on his own, since Ryuk said many times, he isn't on Light's side. He is just there to have a blast. (which is pretty funny)

I am unsure when it tells you that Ryuk is responsible for the rules being in there. I think it was pretty early in the manga.

edit: Rikku-chan! You HAVE to hear L's theme! It is used ALL the time in the anime!

@Cooly,Kanji - oooh! I think I missed the part in the anime then >_<... but the question is now why would Ryuk think throwing it into the human world is funny ... I mean was it because it was done before and Ryuk heard of it or was it that he just thought it up on his own? Ryuk seemed unaware of how a shinigami actually dies... if he had heard of that I bet he'd have thought of that as fun ^_^... but that would require bonding with a human... wait! Could that still be Ryuk's plan?! OOOH! That sounds like a new angle ...

*steals another apple while raito is looking the other way *

@Rikku - Happy you liked it! ^_^ *Huggles sis back doubly hard* Mwahahha!

Edit:- Raito! Are the songs in mp3 format? Will you mail them to me if they are? I'll set it up as my windows boot up music

Shino, Ryuk is always bored. The shinigami world is dry and boring. No shinigami write names in their death notes anymore. they only do so, when they are about to die. they just hang all day and gamble. He wants action, so he goes to the human world, and finds them much more fun. To him, it is a big game, and he doesn't care who wins in the end. Ryuk knew how a shinigami dies, but since Ryuk was the only shinigami around, there is no need for Light to know. I bet Ryuk never thought a second shinigami would come to the human world. If Rem didn't come, Ryuk would have never said anything, since that information would have been useless.

(I think my favorite theme out of those is the Death Note theme. I don't don't care for L's theme B much. But his first theme version is great. Near and Mello should have themes!

Shino-kun, you can choose what format you want them in. I got them for my windows media player ^_^

WHAT?! You still remember that evil abomination? ... Now I'm gonna have nightmares for another week >_<!...here you can have the apple back... *silently steals a more ripe version with the other hand... and flies for the hills*

So putting that all into the picture, we now surmise that Ryuk is bored enought to try out something that's radically new and therefore, owing to reasons of his own, tricks the shinigami king into believing that rules should be written down in the book and also steals a book for his own purpose...namely shoving it down into the human world... Now the other facts that we already know are that shinigami are intricately related to humans simply because it is the drain of a human life that actually prolongs a shinigami's life. There seems to be no other species that is effective enough to keep a shinigami alive. Further, it is only humans who have special names to identify themselves, us being a sentient specieies. For e.g. even if I name a sheep "John" to all other sheep all he would be is "Baaa"! and you can't write that on a death note because it doesn't identify John from any of the other sheep. Further, it is only love and sacrifice for a human that actually "kills" a shinigami... that's another connection to the human world. And with all these in mind ryuk sets off to the human dimention because... ... he's sneaky enough to have a purpose bigger than just stealing ripe apples! Maybe he really wants to die...maybe death to a shinigami is actually a release! The only way to do it is to live out your years or to sacrifice yourself for a human being...both of which ordinary shinigami wouldn't do because of their greed!

Dang, i dunno why i can't send the songs via email.. Ao-kun, I'll create a sharing folder using MSN to your computer. So I just hv to copy and paste the songs there, and you'll be able to get them ^^

Edited: You nv cease to amaze even me with your insights, Ryuk So that's what happens when a shinigami doesn't bottle up information to himself and reveals everything >.<
