For the third and final time, in the Anime she is portrayed as having a taste for dolls which are not normal (with broken limbs and eye patches etc) and wearing black yet intriguing clothing, not because she wants to be with the IN Goth crowd, but BECAUSE of the trauma which was caused her over her parents' murder. This is shown when she is being introduced in the Anime for the first time. Also Nanami, she does know he's false. She is just in denial about it because of her "mental instability" over the loss of her parents. Why does she know that Kira is false? Simply because she is the 2nd Kira, plus she has the death god eyes, which make her more powerful than Light. She can easily put two and two together and figure out that Light is a false god, or at least inferior to her but she doesn't. She loves him because he killed the killer of her parents and is infatuated with the idea of him before she ever even meets him. Sorry if I sounded like I was making you feel stupid before. What i meant before was not just misa but everybody. If you didn't know your god was false it doesn't make you psychotic for thinking he's real. Misa wanted to reign with Kira, she wasn't psychotic just confused and brain washed by Kira. She thought what they were doing was for the greater good.. sooner or later things just changed. she wasn't mentally ill for thinking that way.. just a little confused. When a Girl loves a Boy.. sometimes they have this power over them that changes their decision making. To a point of controlling if you would say. In the anime Kira controls Misa with his love for him. this doesn't make Misa mentally ill... just stupid for letting herself be caught in that position. lol i understand.. Ive had a very bad week, or month.... 2 months now... so if i seemed mean in my posts I'm sorry as well "The ignorant are mere stepping stones on the path to enlightenment." No, Nanami, I mean she is mentally unstable due to her parents murders. The fact that it happens while shes a kid more or less defines her character. This instability then causes her to be brain washed by Kira, even more, easily. Although she is willing for this to happen, when it happens because by that time she is infatuated with him.
The other people who cause riots and are apparent "followers" of Kira are actually condemned by Light himself to be nothing more than thugs and opportunists. i.e. the mobs attack on where they think the SPK (Nears' group) are residing. As for the others within the Manga, you gotta bear in mind that it isn't the real world i'm talking about. Within the Manga, the people who all follow Kira have had some kindof pain of loss. They have seen bad things happen around the world and want justice. This is why they follow Kira. They just don't know who Kira is and what he is, so they call him a god for his god-like powers. It doesn't make them psychotic but I meant to call those thugs psychotic. It is those psychotic people or unstable people that Kira can manipulate so easily. If not because of his power, then because of his looks, charm and apparent status. Truth Hurts LIFE THREATENING Lifestyles A HITMAN, A NUN Lovers

And as for making yourself ABUNDANTLY clear, well that's just peachy. @Queen Nanami Misa is just nauseating. I appreciate the fact that she is madly in love with Light, and looks up to him as a savior. But just the fact that she doesn't have any opinion of her own, or if she does it doesn't matter because she does EVERYTHING Light tells her to anyway. No wonder he doesn't respect Misa!! I absolutely love my husband, no doubt about it!! But, that'd be the day I do EVERYTHING he tells me too. Love is a partnership, not a dictatorship. It pisses me off to see women let their every move be dictated by a man or for love. Those types of relationship have no foundation, and never last. Poor stupid Misa never had a chance! I Love misa for her upbeat additude! Sure to some people she's psychotic but i like her. Misa love for light is sorta weird.. she loved him before she even met him. She lets herself be controlled because she believes she owes him a debt. The only thing i really hated about misa was that Rem loved her so much but misa always seemed to just blow it off.
i don't think her and light made a very good couple.. he's too evil and she's too dumb "The ignorant are mere stepping stones on the path to enlightenment." "People can always have a judgment about anything you do. So it doesn't bother me. Everything can be strange to someone." - Michael Jackson |

LOL!! I agree with the last part about them not making a good couple because Misa is too dumb!! That's ace! But, yeah it really ticked me off when Rem would show her love for Misa and she never really took much consideration into it. Rem is prob my fave in DN, because she's so maternal toward Misa. Another tragedy compliments of DN. I wonder what it is about Misa's ignorance and stupidity that attracts all these shinigami to her and causes them to kill themselves for her!?!?!?! I don't mind Misa. She's just a typical blonde girl. Light despises her because she's in the way but she isn't stupid either. I like her brand of intelligence, which is like a pretty girl, good at maths, even though she doesn't need to be. Truth Hurts LIFE THREATENING Lifestyles A HITMAN, A NUN Lovers

Ho hum, here we go.
There is NO mention in the manga of proof that Misa's parents death leads to her likeness in clothes. No it doesn't. Perhaps the anime does, but NOT the manga. When Misa is introduced, there is absolutely no mention of this. Never does she state that Oh, my parents died, so I'm gonna dress like this and play with weird dolls to make me feel better. Therefore, yes it is your opinion. And like assholes, we all have them. The manga came first, so that is the way the story is intended. If her likeness for clothes and dolls is justified in the anime as a result of her parents death, then that is just an explanation given in the anime and not part of the true story. Believe what you will...I know the truth. And now you're calling Misa a "typical blonde girl". You're just digging your hole a little deeper, aren't you? Now you're stereotyping as well as assuming. Ended..Finis...Game Over...Deleted....I'm done. Peace Love Recycle |
