Nice trick with the font size for spoiler. I'll change mine momentarily too!
SPOILER It seems odd that in just one episode L comes back, seeing as it took at least 6 episdoes for Kira to "reincarnate"... but on the other hand Kira doesn't have a competitor unless L is back in the story because the DeathNote could be passed from person to person but you can't pass brains x.x'... so methinks the next episode is one of two things: 1. all about Kira (this means choice 3 in my list above) OR 2. A new L! (This would be just as cool too!) END SPOILER ^^  Omae mo kanjite no ka... kaze no koe?

Actually, there is two guys who will be replacing L, but they're somewhat against each other too, so its gonna be a three way battle, though kanji reckons its gonna be 6 XD~! End of spoiler There's no such thing as happy endings, for when you find true love, happiness is everlasting.

6!!!  Unless Kanji comes in 6 different disguises as L I doubt thats gonna happen! I'd hate for it to be 6 guys, seeing as it would undermine the power of a single L XD. And BTW, you've probably realized that I'm an L supporter by now >.<'. Not that I don't like Kira, he's all hubba hubba and all, but L is fighting without any powers (except those of the brain) so my heart kinda sided with him.Who are the two replacing L???!? Actually, if you read the a few pages back, Kanji also reckons that 3 of them will be siding with Light ^_^ Also, I've been reading it up on wikipedia  End of spoiler Well, personally, I feel that L has had waaayyyy much more experience than Light in solving police cases. Compare what they've been doing up 'till now. Light, being a high school student and all, L constantly being a detective, on a daily basis X_X And I'm talkiing about long-term experience which consists of years of learning and practice =P So when i look at it that way, it balances the odds  There's no such thing as happy endings, for when you find true love, happiness is everlasting.

Yep. You gotta say that, but the odds are still imbalanced because all of L's experience doesn't allow him to kill anybody (morals included). The deathnote puts a person totally out of the running, while imprisonment still keeps them in the race, so Kira still has a sharper edge *Evil smile*
Is there more manga out than the number of episodes? Is the full story laid out there? Is the anime in keeping with the manga? I haven't read DN yet, but I'll check to see if someone wrote about the story in the manga on this thread *Rushes to read the thread all over*Omae mo kanjite no ka... kaze no koe?

Yeah, but Light's inexperience (as compared to L's) has a good chance of causing his downfall against L ^_^ So i guess what im trying to say is that L's still smarter than Light due to experience
Look at it this way then, if someone else had the death note and abused it mindlessly and recklessly (unlike Light), L would definitely be able to apprehend him/her without much trouble.I don't think so... And I'm not a really a manga person... soo... XD There's no such thing as happy endings, for when you find true love, happiness is everlasting.

Spoiler! I was really suprised when Misa wanted Rem to kill her and then rem just tranfering the ownership to kira and misa wont be able to remember him! Made me sad for her since she kinda loved him and all. CN - ha ha ha ha! I just realized that although you're a Kira supporter and I'm an L supporter, I've been uplifting Kira's powers and you've been siding with L in the last few posts! :lol:
