i know that part was frikkin funny XD it was my favorite part of the anime so far
Spoiler Warning! this is the end of the manga >.< Entering the building, Modi and Yamamoto meat them and thank them for coming. Matsuda comments that Yamamoto climbed the ladder to join them, and that he should drink with once the case is done, to which Yamamoto says "again?" and tells him to let him take a break. Now, on the screen, a new type of L icon comes up, and says "This is L." saying that he was glad everyone was ready, and that he wants to explain the situation in detail. Matsuda says okay, and Aizawa tells him to seriously listen. Now, elsewhere, in what looks like high mountains, bathed under the crescent moon, we see hundreds or maybe thousands of hooded figures walking in a procession, holding candles up on the cliffs. Zooming in, a mix of people, old and young, children and seniors, bowing their heads within the candlelight. The procession then parts in front, of which a white hooded maiden walks within the mid-path created for her, the candlelight almost shining like a star in front of her. She walks up a large cliff end, putting the candlelight down to set, and says "Kira-Sama". The next page zooms on her with her hands folded, looking up towards the nightward sky, in a silent prayer. The candlelight still burning bright. Unanswered Questions That will never get answered Kira's world will never really die out, it's impact never erased...? Who is this beautiful priestess? Looks like Misa to me? What became of Light's family, do they know the truth? If death is equal to everyone, does that mean Light went where L is, or did he just not go anywhere. How would Ryuk know anyways- he isn't dead? End of spoiler!!! i didnt get it really so i was gonna read the others "The ignorant are mere stepping stones on the path to enlightenment." Oh, I'm afraid I can't help you then >_<
For one, I'm not a manga person Two, I haven't seen the true end of the series yet, so maye that's why I don't remember the hooded figures ~_~ But the questions are of extreme interest to me... Hmm, lets see.. I'll try to answer them the best I can, basing them on everything I know about DN so far... Kira's world will never really die out, it's impact never erased...? CN: Yes, no one will ever be able to forget what he did. Like Hitler, his actions made a great impact on the world, be it positive or negative. Who is this beautiful priestess? Looks like Misa to me? CN: Most probably, but I can't say for sure. What became of Light's family, do they know the truth? CN: It's likely that his father does, having been involved in this case and all, though I think he'll keep it from the rest of the family. If death is equal to everyone, does that mean Light went where L is, or did he just not go anywhere. How would Ryuk know anyways- he isn't dead? CN: According to Ryuk, those who have used the death note will never be able to ascend to heaven nor descend to hell. If both L and Light were death note users previously, then yes, they should be in the same place. Ryuk is a death god after all, so I guess the knowledge comes naturally. And by "he isn't dead", who's this "he" you're refering to? Yay ^_^ There's no such thing as happy endings, for when you find true love, happiness is everlasting.

The producer Or we can just leave it up to our imaginations ^_^ But I like the theory of becoming a death god after a death note user dies a lot
Something awaiting him... King of the death gods? The devil himself prehaps? There's no such thing as happy endings, for when you find true love, happiness is everlasting.

::nods:: ok XD now i dont have to wonder
another funny quote from DN!! "Misa: Light, Won't you sleep with me? Light: ...Why are you saying that Misa? Misa: I know, after we catch Kira, right? Don't be shy Light. L: Please don't be shy, Light-kun. Light: I'm not being shy. L: Don't be serious about it either." "The ignorant are mere stepping stones on the path to enlightenment."
