Dream Manga job? - 12-23-2010, 10:14 AM

If you could write/draw a manga for any big manga company, which would it be? I would love to draw Pikachu 24/7, he's so cute, neh?

i would if i can draw lol, but now we are in the tech age, everything is going online, soon you might only see manga online rather than in print

plus manga industry is on the decline even in japan since they passed the new law prohibiting this and that

Where is the evidence for either of these two statements?

I don't think there is any reason to think manga publishing is a thing of the past. People still like to buy manga to read on the train, etc. and in a larger format than a cell phone can deliver.

The new law recently passed is not prohibitive to anything but extremely hardcore pornographic manga, things that would never be published in the US anyway.

well for one, there was a news report on marketwatch.com about the manga and anime industry, about how they are moving towards turning print manga into online due to amount of money spent on printing.

i was actually reading another report about the new law passed in japan, they are prohibiting anime or manga concepts that are related to school enviornment along with other things. check the website below for the full thing.
