Bi-langual subtitles? -

Heyo,
Wouldn't it be cool to have english subtitles for an anime but with maybe one word in every subtitle "frame" also put in japanese maybe in parenthesis or something. Anyone heard of something like this? What do you think of this idea? |

You'd still have to study grammar a lot, you know...
I know places where you can download Japanese subtitles for certain J-dramas and anime, and if you have the right video player you can display multiple subtitles at once (though, that's not gonna be helpful if you only focus on the English ones...) On the Erin ga chousen show website, you can turn on Natural Japanese, kana, romaji, and English subtitles. It's a program to help foreigners learn Japanese so they talk pretty slow. https://www.erin.ne.jp/en/lesson01/basic/index.html That's all I can think of like what you're talking about |

That's what I'm sayin'! People who learn by anime don't seem to believe that!
I have no Friends- The cats have scratched and destroyed all of the DVDs! I always owe someone- In fact I put two os in it! I always ruin my clothes with Bleach!- The show is so dom suspensful I spill my grape soda on them! But . . .I'll live. |
