i can remember that it waz "spirited away" that got me into manga and anime. I can remember watching it and thinking, how beautiful the film waz, i really loved the images of the people, and the scenery and thinking that some one has really taken the time and the effort to produce this. alot of cartoons these days are becoming really cheap, but "spirited away" had time and effort written all over it.
from then on, i really have appreciated allot of anime works.

I enjoy watching high-quality drawing, with an average to good story-line, instead of all that western cartoon crap. The Guyver was the first thing I ever saw that resembled anime/manga. That got me searching. (It was seriously underground back then, not even allowed to rent any kind of manga without bringing a parent...) We convinced mom that we could watch Ghost in the Shell and Akira, that got the ball rolling....series like sailor moon, dragon ball and pokemon only reinforced my appreciation for them

Bye

I can;t remember. Been into it for as long as I can remember. I just always grew up with it. XD

Was more into Anime though i've always preferred it over Western cartoons.

I've known people who didn;t like the black and white aspects of manga, but I love how you can make up the colours and voices yourself. <3

Yah , when i read mangas i feel that the real anime actors are talking.
I actually read the manga after watching the anime. I feel its hard to get some points from the manga if u didnt watch the anime.

o?! Rly?

I always feel that if you read the manga and then watch the anime it kind of spoils it, becasue usually some things are missed out in Anime. Just like how when books are turned into films they miss things out. The animes would be guid if you hadn;t read the manga beforehand. Uh am I making sense? XD

The reason why I'm not attracted to manga is that colorless style; makes it look unfinished to me since I'm used to watching anime.

everything is relative and contradictory ~

I preffer black/white drawings. They look more interesting if they are hand drawn, and since a lot of color pictures are drawn on the computer it looks kinda half assed. But if it was painted it might look nicer.
