In the end...Anime endings and your feelings - 10-02-2007, 10:49 AM

i dont know if everyone else feels like this when it happens but everytime i finish an anime series i feel... empty...
its like i was going in the right direction, now im just falling into the abyss...
why cant they go on forever(lol duh i know why they all end but i still hate it)
its one of the only times i actually show emotions.... i never cried(not that im aware of) but its so sad....
do they do this on purpose? why?

please tell me your feelings

It's so strange for me. Because it's like, in one way I WANT them to end, I want to know the ending, you know... But when it ends I feel so empty, just like you said. I feel torn >_<

In term of anime/ manga series, i started afew but the story havn't finish.. like Naruto, One Piece.. but i have one that fits in here perfectly. the serie is "GTO" aka "Great Teacher Onizuka" when the serie finally come to an end, i felt kinda sad.. dont really know exactly why?.. maybe it's just that my school life is not as exciting as in story and it's boring like hell. Honestly no wonder why so many students decided to ditch school... and the matter of what we're beening taugh in school.. i would rather prefer them to teach us some useful life lessons in school rather than teaching us stuff from a freaking book (math, etc).. it's not like we can read or anything...
ops.. sorry.. went kinda off-topic.. :P

well i find that as soon as i finish a series i totally pick every detail about it... i find so many faults and am always like "well if they did 'such-and-such the easy way... they wudn't have wasted so much time...."
and i also always end up thinking of better endings for the series... like u know alternative ways it could've ended....
does anyone else do that??-- or am i a total weirdo... lol XD
haha

sure has been a while...

? not exactly part of the topic but i dont know about that

i like the writers to put what they want in there. sure its great to decide how it ends. but im not one to be controlling like that. id rather see how they want it. it just shows the writers feelings and what they wanted to see in the anime.

^ya, the have one main ending.. just that you can switch to see different outcome caused by the different decision the main character make.. i know off-topic.. but ya.. continue with what Sachiko said.. should probably do a quote..

I'm really sad after every anime I see ends. I want them to end but the way I want them to end :P. The ends are "always" great, but somehow I want them to be better. I think DBZ had the worst ending of the animes I've seen...
