Yeah, the US lost the license to it. Not sure if this is completely true, but I read someplace that Takeuchi had wanted the license taken away from the US since the late 90s, since she didn't like the way the anime series was handled here in the states.

That stinks...I remember watching it when I was little. And back then I didn't even know what anime is...and to find out I had been watching it since I was little [we used to watch it in kindergarten...i found this fact out about 3 years ago]

Didnt cartoon network only air the first three seasons of Sailor moon?

Uhm. It can be obtained elswhere. The DVDs are still floating around if you look hard enough.

Or find one of us elderly folks that still have the VKLL VHS fansubs from the 90s!

Yes, ADV did lose the license.

I believe DiC retains the license to its hackjob though.

First four, if I'm not mistaken. I know that up to SuperS was dubbed.
