I enjoyed Elfen Lied. I thought the story-line was engrossing and I was able to keep my full attention on it compared to some animes I've seen.
After letting a thirteen year old boy watch it with me and my best friend, we all are watching anime together now.

Thanks for reading!

I think she does live. I mean... If she comes up to your door and obviously has that same silouette-look... It's her.
Otherwise, if she's really dead, she's either zombie-fied or is a weird ghost.

Well, I heard that in the last few seconds of the series, the sad Elfen Lied theme played by the musical box symbolized the end of the suffering, while the ringing of the grandfather clock represented the start of a new dawn.
Makes sense ne?

I love this anime...it contains my two loves: Romance and moral dilemma's. What makes us human? How do you define a "monster", and if you looked at the world through it's eyes, would you, could you, understand what you see?

That's the question I drew from it. Here are some others I've heard:

We all have masks we wear every day to hide our feelings. But when the mask comes off, are we ready to face whats underneath?

Can love really surpass all boundries? Is it strong enough to tie together man and beast? And if it can, then should it be embraced, or feared?

And the final deep, moral question I've heard arise from this anime is truely thought provoking. The question is:

Dude, why is this nude chick slaughtering everyone!?

XD Ya, they ask that one A LOT
