Yeah. It literally translates as '... has been stolen'. If in the street, and somebody tries to mug you, I'd say to shout 'Hilfe!!' or 'Hilf mir!!!'. (The latter being the title of one of my favourite songs. lol)

I learnt at school. Just the basics really, although I ended up doing Higher. Turns out it was one of my best subjects. lol. That, & a wee phrase book I have here. haha

Ich sitze auf dem Stuhl. = I’m sitting on the chair. Sie stehen auf einer Rolltreppe. = You are standing on an escalator. Sie stehen auf der Rolltreppe. = You are standing on the escalator. Er sitzt auf einem Sofa. = He is sitting on a sofa. Er sitzt auf dem Sofa. = He is sitting on the sofa. [AKK] Sie hat sich auf einen Stuhl gesetzt. = She sat down on a chair. Sie hat sich auf den Stuhl gesetzt. = She sat down on the chair. Sie sind auf eine Rolltreppe gegangen. = You stepped on an escalator.
