Oh by the way, Mexican (or any other south-American dialect) does not sound like Spanish at all... I mean, if you heard those differents accents you'd really think they're completely different languages.
Easy to for Portuguese people, Spanish = Portuguese, only some differences saying the words and writting them, i know spanish very well! Yo soy Portugues pero yo hablo Español mucho bien!

Yeah, it's not all that hard to make out what a Portuguese person's saying, some words are similar and the grammar structure must be pretty much the same (not sure, never taken Portuguese), that's cause they both are Romance languages. However, their sound is totally different. I went to Brazil some years ago and sometimes I'd catch a word the native people I was taking the touristic route with said, but we used English cause it was easier for everyone this way xD

Hi there!
I would like to talk about something.
Some years ago i think Spain was so famous in Japan, but not actually?
Was this something like a fashion?

Y es cierto que yo NO soy español pero si soy Mexicano (And its true that I'm not spanish but Mexican)-american.

P.S. anyone who wants to learn some spanish let me know I am willing to teach as long as you can understand basic english.
