I KNOW ill probably be seen as stupid for believing this but i actually believe a planet will show up behind the sun in 2012. they set up cameras just recently around the sun and they say by 2011 it should reach all the way around the sun.

People should educate themselves and read more about the mayan calendar before jumping to this 2012 doomsday crap. The Mayan believed that they wouldn't be destroyed and would keep living in 52 year cycles if they kept giving sacrifices to the gods. So why aren't we dead yet when nobody hasn't been sacrificing in a long long time? The long count calendar was just used to measure time longer than 52 years.
People now believe in this 2012 thing just because a man named José Argüelles said that. He isn't even using the original calendar to calculate the date. A quote from Wikipedia: "Although Argüelles states that his tools and calendar are clearly not a Mayan calendar, much criticism of it focuses on the fact that his works remain completely unsupported by any professional Mayanist scholar. Amongst many criticisms leveled at it, it is pointed out that the interpretation merely co-opts an ancient tradition by recasting it in New Age terms, unknown, unused and undocumented among the Maya." |

Ah 2012, i do love this kinda stuff...it allows me to talk X amounts of crap and celebrate the end of mankind etc..i think it's all bull, but i'm a non believer with most thing unless i see them happen. Similar to that Y2K thing that never happened.
apparently the earth is going to shift it's axis. Hindu's believe mankind is doomed after the 4th age, i'm pretty sure other religions believe somethning similar to. |

but um yeah, I dont believe in that garbage, one day the earth shall die but no one has correctly predicted this date thus far, we have no idea when apocalypse shall be near, but Im guessing not any time soon. Just ignore prophecies please. Its just another type of fear mongering, look how everyone was afraid in 2000. lmao |
