I'd say, make from is a tad too book-sounding but it cannot be reckoned as wrong. Make of [+ material] sounds more natural to me and it's the option I would have gone with. Noodle, you should have a word with your teacher and kindly ask her for further clarification: even though there was a slightly better answer to choose among the four, what you chose is by no means wrong; maybe not as suitable, but not wrong.
